Covering 7.5% of the country , the national parks offer a stunning array of scenery, from forested islands, waterfalls and lakes to breathtaking cliffs and soaring mountaintops.

Covering 7.5% of the country (994 sq km), the national parks offer a stunning array of scenery, from forested islands, waterfalls and lakes to breathtaking cliffs and soaring mountaintops. They provide an ideal vacation for active travelers thanks to the variety of activities that can be enjoyed – from hiking and biking to diving and swimming.

Currently there are 8 National Parks in Croatia (blue on the photo below): Brijuni, Telascica, Krka, Kornati, Vransko Jezero, Biokovo, Lastovsko otocje and Mljet.
