Stone house Tironi

Stone house Tironi is located on a small island Drvenik Veliki, near the ancient city of Trogir. The house is laying with one wall in the sea, so the balcony of the apartment is over the sea. The island is located at a distance of 7.1 Nm from Trogir and 15 Nm from Split. Airport Split is 5 km away from the ferry stop in Trogir. For the guests arriving by plane, we can arrange a transportation from the airport to the ferry in Trogir or from the airport to the village of Vinisce, where a taxiboat wait for our guests and drive them across the sea channel directly in front of our apartment. Our island is very well connected to the citiy of Trogir. Ferries drives three time a day on relations Drvenik Veliki - Trogir - Drvenik Veliki. The ferry stops 30 m away from the our house, so is the preferred way to get to the island by ferry, without a car. Our apartment, with separate,entrance, has 45 m2, capacity 4 persons+1 child. Apartment has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with toilet and shower, kitchen with dining space. Information about the island Drvenik Veliki: There are a small shop, a bakery and three taverns (restaurants) in the village, while on the south side of the island, near the islets Krknjas Veli and Mali, there is a well known seafood restaurant. In the apartment are free Wi-Fi, TV with international programs, air conditioner, oven, refrigerator and freezer, small coffe machine for filtered coffe and small toaster. In the garden there are the pine trees more than 120 years old, thirtyyear old Pittosporum plants, two palm trees and other Mediterranean plants. There are old “cisterns” (tanks for rain water) built in the rock in the garden. The rain water is stored in these reservoirs. Water pump with pressure tank supply the house with the water.

As it can be seen on the pictures, our stone building and the apartment for the guests is located on the coast of the sea. One part of the wall (under the balcony) is actually in the sea, right in the open pool. The bedroom with balcony overlooks the west, with the beautiful view on sunset. The house is old
Our guests can swim in front of the house, where is the stone and partially concrete plateau, where they can sunbathe (we have available 2 sunbeds), as well as on a small beach in the shade of pine, which is located below the window of children's room (white room). Sea near the house and in the bay is absolutely clear and completely clean.
We have a see kayak free for our guests. Our guests can use portable grill in front of the house, near the sea.
Also for our guests is a free use of the garden.
In the apartment are free Wi-Fi, TV with international programs, air conditioner, oven, refrigerator and freezer, small coffe machine for filtered coffe and small toaster.
The house Tironi is built of stone. The oldest part of the house is probably built in the seventeenth century. The house and the garden were the property of Count Lantana from Zadar and he used it as a summer residence. Around 1800 the house and garden were bought by the family Tironi from Trogir.

The house lays directly on the sea.

There are a small shop, a bakery and three taverns (restaurants) in the village (distance from the apartment 200 to 500 m), while on the south side of the island, near the islets Krknjas Veli and Mali, there is a well known seafood restaurant. This place, known as "Blue lagoon" is very nice for swiming. "Blue lagoon" is about 45 minutes walk away from our house.

We try to be polite and discrete with our guests.
We are ready to help them with advice where to go on a one day excursion, what to see, etc ... If they like, we can buy for them a fresh fish. They can prepare a fish on portable grill. We are ready to help them them (if they don't know) how to bake fish on the grill.

Our apartment is for no smokers and for the guests without pets.
