I love travelling and entertaining. I have a big family and this property is our holiday home where we get together during the holidays. We started to welcome travelers in 2014 and its been pleasant experience sharing travel stories and discovering new ideas and cultures. We are offering our guests a local experience, a family home, not a hotel, and we sincerely want them to enjoy their stay as much we do. Set in the UNESCO protected world heritage Plitvice Lakes National Park, "The Alexandar Vacation Home" offers self-catering holiday accommodations with Free WiFi, Free Secure Parking and Free Bicycles. Our property consisting of a two bedroom Cottage Alexandar and a separate building with four studio apartment units, each building has a separate entrance for more privacy and different characteristics that are primarily welcoming and comfortable.

Guests can enjoy hiking along mountain trails, cycling through the countryside, visit the waterfalls at the Plitvice Lakes or go on a day tour for Horse Riding, Kayaking or Rafting at Slunj / Rastoke (45km), or Gacka (46km).

We are discrete with our interaction with the guest, contact is only at check-in and check-out. However we are available 24/7 on phone should the guest require any information or assistance.
We do not live on the property, when we are there during the holiday seasons we receive the guests and when we can't be there our friendly neighbors are happy to receive our guests.

Our holiday home on this location consist of a two bedroom Cottage and a separate building with four studio apartments. Each building has its own entrance and secure parking.

The Cottage is also available for travelers and is listed on this website. The Cottage has all wooden interior and exterior, a big garden with out door furniture & fireplace for dining, BBQ or picnic and Kid's play equipment. The interior decor is a mix of rustic with modern equipment. There is a lounge area with a fireplace, telephone and flat-screen TV (cable TV + Pay channels), a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a washing machine in the bathroom. For evening entertainment are Deck of Cards, Dart, Badminton, Books and Toys

The Alexandar Cottage and Apartments are set on the edge of a pine forest. Korenica town is a 5-minute drive away, Zadar Airport is about 1.4 hour and Zagreb airport about 2hours. There several restaurants and bars, 2 big supermarkets, a clinic, a pharmacy and a bank.

Car is essential, bicycles are available for guests use on first come first serve basis.

As per self catering accommodation terms, guests are required to keep the apartment in clean condition. Garbage must be disposed inside the trash cans provided outside. Please do not leave food/garbage outside on the veranda or garden as it may attract wild animals.

We are environmentally friendly, we use solar energy and advocate responsible use of hot water and heating.

Keys will be handed over on the property.

We do not live on the property, when we are there during the holiday seasons we receive the guests and when we can't be there our friendly neighbors are happy to receive our guests.

Please send us estimated arrival time, so that we can receive you promptly on arrival.

We recommend to guests not to arrive at night as the street lightnings inside the park are not bright (protection of wildlife).
