Diving
Friends of sea and diving dip into the blue paradise of Kvarner and discover the secrets of its
submerged world! Irrespective of whether you embark for the adventure in an organized group or
individually, bear in mind that you may dive only provided you possess a valid diving card, issued
by the Croatian Divers' Association. The multitude of attractive locations suitable for explorations
and submarine photographing and filming represents a constant challenge to divers from all over
the world and makes them return just to Kvarner, of all places. More info:

Rafting
One of the most beautiful European rivers, the Kupa, is hidden in the heart of Gorski Kotar.
The bravest wait for the time when it reaches its maximum level, however all others will get
sufficient excitement and sprinkling experiences at lower levels too. The main rafting season
lasts from April to June and from June to October. A somewhat slower, family "floating rafting"
takes place in summer monthsInfo phone 051/ 837 139

Windsurfing
Windsurfing is by no means one of the most appealing and most popular summer sports.
Some of the most attractive places for windsurfing in the Kvarner region are situated in
Preluka and on the island of Krk.

Cycling
Get to know the Kvarner from another angle - instead of going on organized tours by bus, set your own
traveling rhythm. The opportunities for cycling adventures and recreation in the Kvarner region are
numerous: there are many marked and trodden tracks, and of the 19 paths along the coast and its hinterland,
on the islands of Cres, Losinj, Krk, Rab or in Gorski Kotar, there is something to cater for all
expectations. Following these tracks you'll get the best view of the Kvarner and get to know all
the attractions our hospitable environment offers.

Paragliding
The paraglide is an air-filled parachute-wing designed so as to be able to take off and land by
means of energy, wind, gravitation and muscles only. As distinguished from the parachute,
the purpose of which is landing, the paraglide has been designed for free flying.
This most recent flying sport has many fans because of its accessibility and due to the fact that
to see the world from a bird's eye view, to soar carried by the air current and to be part of
nature has been man's eternal dreamInfo phone 051/ 259 107

Parachuting
To swim like a fish, to fly like a bird... Man's ancient dream to take wing may come true: if
you wish to feel how is it to push off in the open air and enjoy falling freely or flying, put
yourself to the test in parachuting or paragliding. Theoretical and practical training is carried out
on the Grobnik airfield and flight instructions for beginners, tourist flights and occasional
competitions are held here as well. Experienced parachuters can jump here, at weekends.
Once you've jumped, you'll become aware that even the sky does not represent a limit any longer......
