About

Island Vis is one of the farthest and most remote islands in the Adriatic. You can arrive to Vis by ferry from Split. The ride lasts almost 3 hours but considering the size and comfort the ferry offers, you will almost not feel it. The ferry arrives almost in the center of the city, so tourists often decide to arrive without a car as it’s more practical and cheaper.

The island of Vis is rich in underground tunnels and bunkers, some of which are nowadays turned into real attractions!

The island of Vis is famous for its beautiful bays and beaches. Be sure to visit the beautiful Stončica bay and refresh yourself on the town’s beaches.

Do not miss visiting Komiza, a beautiful fishing town on the western part of the island. In Komiža you will find numerous beautiful beaches one of which is dog beach Vartalac.

We especially recommend a trip to the island Biševo and its well-known Blue Cave (Modra Spilja) that will delight you with its dance of light.
